Bolognese Sauce

   Peel the garlic and onion.

   Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Add the onion, garlic and chopped parsley, then cook gently over low heat.

   Add the ground beef and ham, then brown for about 10 minutes.

   Add the canned tomatoes and tomato passata.

   Season with salt and pepper, then add the Herbes de Provence.

   Simmer partially covered for about 30 minutes.
